Dr. Laurence Scott, a longstanding member of Arcadia’s core faculty in London, was recently featured in the tech section of The New Yorker, a prestigious American publication.

His article, Whatever Happened to the Couch Potato?, examines society’s relationship with “screens” (TV, computers, phones, etc), and discusses the generation gap with millennials regarding technology.

Dr. Scott has experience discussing these subjects, as his award-winning book, The Four Dimensional Human, which examines the impact of digital technology on the way we think and how we interact with the world around us. It won a Jerwood Award and was shortlisted for a Samuel Johnson Prize.
