National news organization, CNBC, reported on the Greek Debt Crisis from the perspective of study abroad students in the country and included an interview with Arcadia in Greece student, Sarah Sapirstein from University of Vermont. Tim Barton, The College of Global Studies’ Director of Student Services, was also interviewed.
“The effect of the financial crisis on our students has been very limited,” Barton said, explaining that day to day life for the students has not changed much. Sarah confirmed this sentiment by stating that she “experienced zero sense of insecurity as a foreigner and noticed no sense of chaos on the ground.”
