The New York Times has released their 52 Places To Go In 2015 for the new year, and two of Arcadia's Study Abroad destinations are featured in the top 10: Cuba and Durban, South Africa.
Cuba occupies the list's second spot, primarily due to the fact that relations between the island nation and the U.S. are beginning to thaw and travel there has become easier. The article does note that while there are fewer travel restrictions, they are not gone completely, which means studying abroad there is still one of the best ways to experience this unique and beautiful Caribbean nation.
A few spaces down at number seven is Durban, South Africa, location of the prestigious University of KwaZulu-Natal. Durban is the African nation's third largest city and boasts a rich architectural heritage. The Times makes note of Durban's impressive beaches, popular markets, boutiques, venues and gastro-culture.
