Students in Cuba at MemorialOn Thursday, September 10 at 2pm EST, Arcadia will be hosting a free, live webinar on studying abroad in Cuba featuring Alumni, Program Managers and the Resident Director of Arcadia in Cuba. Given the re-opening of the U.S. Embassy in Havana on August 14 and the historic interaction between the two nations, there is no better time to learn about Cuba.

Former program participants will be available to recount their experiences on Arcadia's Cuba programs, discussing everything from campus life and excursions to the types of challenges they faced in such a unique country. Temple Student Brea Govan writes of her experience, "It made me realize this world is so much bigger than the U.S. I've traveled internationally many times, and people of those countries really cater to Americans... Cuba didn't."

In addition, Cuba's Resident Director, Dr. Elena Moreno, will speak about her experience working firsthand with students and how they have been able to adapt to the unique and rapidly changing environment of Havana.
