Today, Secretary of State John Kerry and a group of U.S. diplomats participated in a flag raising ceremony at the American Embassy in Havana, marking a serious change in relations after 54 years of tension between the two countries.
The event follows up on an earlier one that took place in Washington DC on July 20th. Secretary Kerry became the first U.S. Secretary of State to visit Cuba in 70 years. Journalists from all over the globe have come to Havana to witness the big moment.
