Internships in Ireland: Work with an internationally experienced workforce.

Dublin Internship
New research indicates that an internship in Ireland would likely expose students to an internationally experienced workforce. According to The Global Talent Report from The Boston Consulting Group, 91% of Irish citizens have worked abroad, of which 23% said they had also studied abroad or spent time overseas as an intern. This would indicate that students who intern in Ireland are very likely to work alongside professionals who have international experience, which is an exciting enhancement to the student intern experience.

Such an internationalized workforce opens the door for broader and more informed communication opportunities for Americans Interning in Ireland, not only about Irish life and culture but also about international working life in general. This resonates further still, since the top country that Irish citizens choose to work in is the United States.

The research, which included 200,000 respondents from 70 countries, also discussed other countries with high rates of international work experience, including the UK (88%), the Philippines (87%), India (86%) and Slovakia (85%).
