Arcadia in Rome participant Vincent Ventura is garnering media attention for his exciting semester on Villanova’s Vatican Internship. His work placement is at the Pontifical Council for Social Communication (PCCS), which serves as a conduit through which other Vatican media sources are channeled, broadcasting on one central hub, News.va.

In a profile of Ventura by the news outlet NorthJersey.com, he speaks of the internship's day-to-day specifics. "I work with the social media accounts for News.va, particularly posting on the News.va Facebook and Instagram accounts. Most Wednesdays, I attend the Papal Audiences and shoot film and video to publish online. Working for an organization as historical and important as the Vatican, I have the ability to connect with people across the world."

Ventura also spoke to NBC Philadelphia, saying of his experience "Being here has made me disconnected from the things that don't matter...and has made me realize what's really important to be connected to."

Last year, CNN’s Anderson Cooper interviewed past participants of this program about their perspectives of Pope Francis I’s election. You can view that article here.
