Meet Our Latest Additions to the Advising & Student Engagement Team: Breyasia Scott and Amelia Kemp

Breyasia Scott (she/her) joins us from the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, where she focused on student engagement. In her previous role, Breyasia selected candidates from first-gen, low-income, and underrepresented backgrounds for the summer internship program, and organized enriching experiences for students through Penn Museum Workshops. Bre graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Ancient History and minors in Theatre Arts, American Sign Language/Deaf Studies, and Modern History. She also spent a semester studying abroad at University College London. Bre's ambition is to utilize her background to enhance accessibility for individuals traditionally underserved by cultural institutions. Breyasia will advise for Arcadia in London and London Cohort programs.

Amelia Kemp (she/her) is a familiar face to many at Arcadia Abroad. Previously an Enrollment Apprentice, she transitioned into a full-time Program Advisor role in January. While Amelia pursued her education at the College of Wooster in Ohio, majoring in Communication Studies and Sociology. When sharing a bit about herself, Amelia mentioned, "I was born abroad and had visited 3 continents before turning 5--my first encounter with snow was in New Zealand! My study abroad experience in Granada with Arcadia led me to this role, as I loved the experience and the team. Amelia will advise students heading off to Australia and New Zealand programs.
