The College of Global Studies at Arcadia University is excited to announce that there will be new co-curricular activities available to students participating in programs in Ireland starting this upcoming spring semester. These activities are diverse in their themes but all seek to engage students with the local culture beyond the classroom.
By participating in these excursions, students engage in cultural immersion that gives them an international yet uniquely Irish perspective and enables them to contextualize their courses in a more nuanced way.
These new co-curricular activities include a rugby match, a guided hike up Ireland’s Holy Mountain, a traditional Irish music workshop and more. Additionally, semester students will spend a weekend living with an Irish family on a homestay, giving them a true taste of authentic Ireland.
