Rachel's ReflectionThe Spring Semester is about to begin, and as such there are a number of new Student Bloggers beginning their adventures around the world. Follow their blogs as they step outside of their comfort zones and offer unique and authentic perspectives of what it’s like to study abroad in a variety of different locations.

Keep up with Rachel, for example, who is getting ready to study abroad in Stirling, Scotland. She has an excellent pre-departure reflection on her journey ahead. She includes the very appropriate Marcel Proust quote, “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeing new sights, but in looking with new eyes."

Another blogger, Angela, is a Sociology major at Georgetown University who is spending her semester in South Africa. In one of her first posts, she writes about choosing to study at the University of the Western Cape because the school’s rich history of student activism for social progress.

We are also excited that Aaron, an Arcadia University student, will be our first student to blog from Havana, Cuba. Not only will he be providing an inside take on a program that has yet to be represented by a blogger, but he is also writing all of his posts in both English and Spanish. His pre-departure post discusses what he expects his semester to be like.

Stay tuned to see how these once-in-a-lifetime experiences help these students grow and mature as global citizens and educated professionals.
