The College of Global Studies at Arcadia University is pleased to announce its new STEM Summer program at University College London (UCL). This exciting program brings opportunities for STEM students to enjoy courses taught by expert faculty in the heart of this cosmopolitan city.
Over three weeks, students will take one four-credit course from a wide variety taught at UCL in areas such as: Biomedical Science, Environmental & Atmospheric Science; Health; Neuroscience/Psychology, Science Journalism; Statistics, Biology; and Computer Science.
The students will also have the full support of Arcadia’s London Center staff and the many cultural events, activities and excursions organized to help the students engage with local culture and communities during their time in London. The program also broadens the Arcadia Summer STEM offerings to include opportunities beyond research and into taught courses. This gives students even more choice as they think about using their summertime to lessen their semester course loads.
Jessie Guinn, Assistant Academic Dean of STEM at The College of Global Studies, Arcadia University, commented: "This program allows students to take unique STEM courses that will extend and distinguish their plan of study along with a variety of culturally relevant experiences. The science faculty and courses at UCL in the summer are excellent."
