The Atlantic Philanthropies has recently awarded Trinity College Dublin along with UC San Francisco a $177 million grant to create the Global Brain Health Institute, which will aim to prevent and limit the global impact of dementia.
The initiative will by led by Trinity College Dublin and UCSF, two leaders in neuroscience, and will allow four fellows at both Trinity College Dublin and UCSF to be trained in carrying out dementia research, delivering healthcare, and changing current practices regarding dementia. Up to 32 scholars will also be trained at either Trinity or UCSF for up to a year.
This program reinforces Trinity College Dublin and UCSF's dedication to promoting health worldwide through cutting-edge research, innovation, and technology.
