On September 17, the University of Kentucky Education Abroad program, a partner of Arcadia University, held its annual fall study abroad fair for students and faculty to explore a range of international programs within their academic interests.
In a Kentucky Kernel article about the Fall Fair and the benefits of study abroad, University of Kentucky student Danielle Beam highlights the wonderful opportunities that stemmed from her participation in the Celtic Blue program, which Arcadia University offers in partnership with the University of Kentucky.
Beam, who studied at the National University of Ireland in Galway, says in the article, “I visited places in every region of the country… Because I was able to explore so many places, I was able to learn a lot about the culture, history and natural wonders of this incredible island.”
The article also details the experiences of students who studied in other countries, from China to Ecuador, and how study abroad proved to be a challenging but transformative experience for these students.
