Tuition and Fees $16,495 The tuition and fees portion of the program fee includes tuition for general studies program or the multi-cultural psychology program, most arts and social science academic courses, pre-program advisory services, on-site orientation, complete support services throughout the program, health and accident insurance, post-program follow-up and transcript.
Room $4,500 The housing portion of the program fee assumes self-catered, standard accommodations. Students in catered housing or enhanced accommodations could be subject to supplemental charges (see Potential Additional Fees below). Please refer to the program's Accommodation page for more specific details.
Total Program Fee $20,995 Please see the Potential Additional Fees section below. Additional fees will be billed several weeks after programs begin.

Estimate of Additional Expenses

Books $250 The average cost of books and supplies for a typical student for the semester. Additional course fees may be associated with certain courses - please see the ISI website for details. Students must pay these course fees after course registration has been completed directly to ISI onsite. See potential additional fees below.
Meals $1,195 This estimate is based on the cost of food to be prepared using the residence facilities provided.
Personal $1,230 This budget item is meant to cover general expenses of daily life. Our estimated cost typically includes toiletries, snacks, cell phones, limited entertainment activities, and other miscellaneous expenses. This includes an estimated $300 for out-of-pocket medical expenses.
Student Visa $250 For students studying in Italy for longer than 90 days, the Italian National Visa (D Visa) processing fee is approximately $56 USD; the fee is updated by consulates every three months to adjust for inflation and exchange rate. Students should also budget an additional $50 USD in estimated shipping. Students should also anticipate paying an additional estimated $195 USD for the Permesso di Soggiorno upon arrival in Italy. Visa costs are subject to change.
Local Travel $275 Estimated travel costs from the student residence to the instruction site throughout the course of the program.
Program Travel $1,200 The program fee does not include the cost of traveling to and from the program location. The estimated cost of airfare is based on the average cost of travel from the US to the program. Cost will vary depending on time of purchase, point of origin and dates of travel.
Total Estimate of Additional Expenses $4,400 These estimates intend to assist students in budgeting for their experience abroad. Actual amounts will vary depending on individual spending habits. An exchange rate of USD 1.16 to EUR 1.00 was used in determining the above estimates.

Supplemental Housing Fee $800 - $3,275 Students assigned to single rooms are subject to an additional fee (subject to review and availability). Supplemental fees will be billed to your Arcadia account several weeks after programs begin.
Architecture Program $3,500 Students enrolled in the Architecture Program are subject to an additional fee per semester. This supplemental fee will be billed to your Arcadia account several weeks after programs begin.
Scholars Research Program $1,900 Students enrolled in the Scholars Research Program are subject to an additional fee per semester. This supplemental fee will be billed to your Arcadia account several weeks after programs begin.
Onsite: Special Course Fees $200 - $2,000 Certain courses have additional course fees up to $400 per course. These additional course fees will be billed to you directly by ISI Florence after onsite course registration.
