Your course books are essential, an we all understand that sometimes the cost of these books can seem astronomical.

This is where the Blackwell's book fair comes in.

When you know your class schedule, make a point to check your syllabi and find out which books are required for your course.

Then you can head on over to the book fair at the Arcadia Center (details can be found the orientation schedule you will receive upon arrival at your housing) where you will be able to purchase the essential books for your course. Blackwell's are our official booksellers with access to your course reading lists, so they’re most likely to stock the titles you need, all in one place. They also provide discounts on a range of books and offer a fantastic ‘buy back’ service, for books purchased from the fair or in store.

So what IS the buy back service?

If you no longer need your course books at the end of the semester, you may be eligible to sell them back to Blackwell’s for up to 30% of the original value in cash. Please note, this service is entirely discretionary on the part of Blackwell’s.

If you would like further information on the terms of ‘buy back’, please drop into Gabby’s office in room G04, or email (genusg@arcadia.edu). Alternatively, you will have the opportunity to speak to a member of Blackwell’s staff at the book fair.
