It is that time of year again. At 9am EST/2pm BST the subsidized summer events will be available to purchase! Events sales will close at 9am EST/2pm BST on May 16th.

Places are limited and sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. If there are still spaces available after the events sales window has closed, then sales will be reopened at a later date and you shall be made aware.

Summer students will have received the link to the events purchase page in the events email. This link will not work until sales opens. We will also post the link onto the Facebook Group. If you have not already joined the group, do so now!

Harry Potter Studio Tour

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London provides an amazing new opportunity to explore the magic of

the Harry Potter™ films – the most successful film series of all time. This unique walking tour takes

you behind-the-scenes and showcases a huge array of beautiful sets, costumes and props. It also

reveals some closely guarded secrets, including facts about the special effects and animatronics

that made these films so hugely popular all over the world.

Twelfth Night, Regents Park Open Air Theater

£10/$17

What better way to spend a summer afternoon than by watching Shakespeare at the open air

theatre in Regents Park? Twelfth Night is a comedy written by Shakespeare around 1601-1602. It

was written for the close of the Christmas season and was always intended to be a great

entertainer. It is a tale of secret identities, misunderstandings, fools and romance. This tale has

been reinvented numerous times, but its reinvention here – under the summer sun – is

particularly impressive.

Cricket: Middlesex v Gloucestershire

Enjoy a lively match between these two well established teams at one of the finest cricket

grounds, Lords. You will be in one of the grandstands to watch what will be an entertaining match.

This is a T20 (twenty – twenty) match which means that it should last for approximately 3 hours.

Each team is limited by time and overs to try and score as many runs as possible so you will be

treated to some fast paced excitement.

The Queen’s Gallery and the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace

The Queen’s Gallery was first completed in 1831 and it became a private chapel for Queen

Victoria in 1843. It was then destroyed in an air raid in 1840 but redeveloped as a gallery for the

Royal Collection in 1962. While visiting the Gallery you will be able to browse the Georgian

exhibition. This exhibition marks the 300th anniversary of the beginning of the Georgian era. It

explores royal patronage and taste in the reigns of George 1 and II, bringing together over 300

works. The Royal Mews is a tour in which you will discover all there is to know about royal

transportation. Whether it is a historic carriage that catches your attention, or a modern car, your

tour guide will be able to answer all your questions.

Brighton Day Trip

According to Doctor Johnson, Brighton is ‘the perfect place to regain one’s health and then to ruin

it again.’ This unique city by the sea offers fantastic shopping, sightseeing and the Brighton

Pavilion – a sprawling, Arabesque palace that was a favorite of King George IV. Brighton has a

great atmosphere during the summer holidays, and there may even be a spot of sun and the

chance to take a dip in the English Channel (Please note: Nice English weather not guaranteed!!).
