Hello, everyone! My name is Nathaniel Burola and I am a senior at California Lutheran University located in the small city of Thousand Oaks, California in the United States. I am majoring in Environmental Science and minoring in Political Science. My long-term career objective is to attend graduate school in order to obtain a Master’s degree and a PhD in a field related to Ecology. After completing my PhD, I plan to enter a post-doc program, and eventually continue on to become a principal investigator at a research institute where I can conduct research in the field of ecology continuing to be an active part of the scientific community. My hobbies include working out at the gym, reading science fiction books, and hiking to explore nature. I shall be spending my summer on the STEM Summer Research Program in Dublin, Ireland, studying aquatic ecology. Follow along with Nathaniel here.
