With great excitement the city of Glasgow will welcome athletes who are set to represent their countries in the 20th Commonwealth Games.
Beginning on 23 July and lasting through 3 August, athletes will be competing in 17 different sports. The venues which are primarily spread across Glasgow, though the diving events will be held in Edinburgh, have been newly built and/or renovated and Scotland is primed to show of its hospitality, culture and tradition.
