If you’re around Barcelona or anywhere nearby this weekend or next week, you should know that - from May 13^th and until May 21^st - the city of Girona will be filled with flowers all over the place!

Temps de Flors is the name of the Flower Festival that is celebrated every year in Girona. Many streets and some of the most emblematic areas of the city are decorated and scented by thousands of flowers. More than one hundred floral arrangements are displayed on the streets, gardens, squares, steps and monuments of Girona. The steps of the iconic Girona Cathedral - now even more well-known because some scenes of Game of Thrones were shot there - will be brimming with colorful carpets of flowers in an elegant way.

The flowers will play a very important role throughout the festival, but you will also have the chance to attend free concerts, workshops, exhibitions, fairs and, in brief, more than a hundred traditional and cultural events!
