Discuss your interest in studying abroad to ensure that the program you are considering fits with your academic plan and that you understand the type of credit you will receive for the courses you are planning to take abroad.
Follow up on any action items or tasks assigned to you after the meeting to ensure you are on track with your academic progress and goals.
Plan: Know your home school and program deadlines. For Spring, most program deadlines will happen in late summer into fall. On some rare occasions deadlines are a year out so make sure you know your deadlines. Don’t miss out on your program because you missed a deadline!

Start saving money: Begin saving money for your study abroad experience to cover additional expenses such as travel and personal spending.
If you want to speak to alumni from your program of choice reach out and ask your questions.

Begin the application process early: Start working on your study abroad application early to give yourself plenty of time to gather all the necessary documents, such as transcripts, letters of recommendation, and essays.
