Hi, I'm Rebecca, an English major and music minor at Skidmore College. I love reading, writing, science, and hiking, and am both an Irish step dancer and an Irish fiddler. This semester, I will be studying at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Trinity has produced some of the English language's most prolific writers, so I am thrilled to be able to study English here. I will also be exploring Dublin's traditional music scene, from traditional Irish concerts and music sessions in local pubs to Trinity College's Traditional Music Society. On my blog, you might find anything from videos of Irish music to photographs of mountain views to descriptions of my classes, whether they be on Jonathan Swift or earth science. You'll also find out how I manage to navigate a new city despite having no sense of direction, if I can keep up my enthusiasm through the Dublin rains, and if I learn something about literature, music, science, and most importantly, life.
