David is from North Berwick, East Lothian and has lived in Edinburgh for the last five years as it is one of his favourite cities. At the age of 19, David was awarded a soccer/academic scholarship at Barton College in North Carolina, playing as a striker for the men’s soccer team at NCAA D2 level whilst also studying towards his BA (Hons) in Sport and Management. He later went on to complete his degree at the University of Abertay in Scotland. For the last 3 and a half years David has been helping students from the UK to be placed at a US university, assisting with admissions, athletic eligibility, insurance, student visas and handling scholarship negotiations.

In his free time, David loves to travel as much as possible and is always looking to plan his next trip away to Europe and beyond. He has a particular interest in live music and comedy and has a big passion for sport, playing football and basketball at a high level at a young age and is now a regular tennis player.
