Ellen Claire joined the College of Global Studies in 2023. As Student Community and Engagement Officer, her responsibilities consist of supporting and providing assistance to students for any issues in relation to accommodation, programmes or adapting to study abroad and life in Ireland. She aids in organising and managing housing arrangements as well as being involved in operations at the Arcadia Dublin Center.

In addition, Ellen Claire helps to coordinate intercultural activities, provide resources and build a community that encourages student engagement and allows for students to have a more positive and transformative experience during their study abroad in Ireland.

Ellen Claire has a strong interest in cultural studies, linguistics and history with an academic background in these areas. She holds a BA degree in World Languages from University College Cork and a MA degree in Culture & Colonialism from University of Galway. She has also spent time studying abroad at Université de Lille in France and Universität Konstanz in Germany.
