I am currently an Associate Professor at the University of Granada. I have a degree in Physics from the University of Granada (2009), I obtained a Master's degree in Geophysics and Meteorology in 2010 and a PhD in Physics and Space Sciences in 2014. During my PhD, I was visiting scientist at NOAA (Boulder, CO) and TROPOS (Germany). During my postdoc period, I worked at IDAEA-CSIC in Barcelona (Spain).
My research interests include the study of microphysical and chemical properties of aerosols and clouds using a broad range of measurement techniques, aerosol optical properties, aerosol hygroscopicity, aerosol-cloud interactions, study of biogenic and dust aerosols and their impact on clouds in natural environments like Sierra Nevada (Spain).
In addition to my research activity, I am lecturer at the University of Granada at master and degree levels, I supervise several master and degree thesis, and STEM projects within Arcadia University in Spain programs.
