Ikysha has a wealth of experience working with families and children in need of foster and adoption placements. This included an emphasis on parent education, resource identifications and connections, and ongoing case management leadership. While all students studying abroad with us have study abroad in common, Ikysha’s insight will help us fine-tune the ways we support the varied life experiences students bring to the table in their quest to study abroad.

Prior to joining Arcadia, Ikysha worked for the Philadelphia School District as a climate liaison, designing and implementing school-wide interventions and practices to promote a positive school culture while connecting students and families with external community resources, services, and supports. Her education includes a BA in Criminal Justice, MA in Urban studies, and certification in mental health first aid and the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).
