Katie Faulkner is a lecturer and researcher, specialising in the history of British art, particularly sculpture. She teaches the history of art and museum studies courses at Arcadia University and The Courtauld Institute of Art, where she gained her PhD in 2013. Katie is currently working on a book project on sculpture and performance in nineteenth-century Britain and her work has been published in journals such as The Sculpture Journal, Nineteenth-Century Contexts, and the Journal of Victorian Culture. She is the History of Art subject editor for the online journal, The Open Library of Humanities. She is also the Widening Participation Academic Coordinator for The Courtauld Gallery and has led workshops and lectures for a range of public audiences.
