Lisa joined Arcadia in May 2015 as a consultant and the Director of Global Human and Organizational Development and formally joined the Arcadia team in 2018. She now serves as Chief of Operations, Global Programs and Engagement. She provides strategic and operational leadership for Arcadia Abroad and oversees the operations, global programs and student engagement divisions of the organization. This includes supporting talented Directors in the running of our programs and exploring innovative ideas with our overseas partners, as well as supporting the leadership of the Global Health, Safety and Security and Advising and Student Engagement teams stateside. Educating the whole person and building meaningful partnerships with integrity drive her work and supporting all of the teams who do this work at Arcadia Abroad is a true joy.

Lisa has worked in international education for over 25 years and has seen many changes in the field during her tenure. She has held leadership positions at Georgetown University, Bucknell University, and Rollins College. Prior joining Arcadia as a consultant, she served as the Deputy Director/Director of Global Strategies and the Senior Advisor for Global Partnerships at Georgetown University. She enjoys serving the field and has presented extensively and served on both external review committees, as well as Forum, AIEA, NAFSA and AACRAO committees. She was also a founding executive board member of The Global Leadership League and has most recently presented on gender equality, women’s leadership, and fearless conversations.

Lisa holds a B.S. in German from Georgetown University, an M.A. in Educational Leadership (concentration: International Education), and an Ed.S. in Human and Organizational Learning from The George Washington University. She studied abroad for two years in Munich, Germany.
