I was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain, but I always had a deep desire to explore the world. To pursue this passion, I decided to study Tourism Management at the University of Girona. This allowed me to combine my love for travel with the opportunity to meet people from diverse cultural backgrounds. In addition to my undergraduate degree, I graduated with a Master's Degree in Events Management from the Universitat Autonoma of Barcelona in 2013.
It was during my Master's program that I embarked on an exciting journey to Mauritius for an internship. Spending a year in this beautiful country was a transformative experience. Upon returning to Spain, I decided to become an entrepreneur by founding my own placement agency. My goal was to assist international students in gaining valuable work experience abroad.
After several successful years running my agency, I made a significant move to Australia, arriving in Perth in December 2019. This move was motivated by my aspiration to further my education and career. I successfully completed my MBA International at Edith Cowan University in July 2022. This experience not only enhanced my understanding of the Australian education system but also provided me with a solid foundation in the corporate world within an international context.
With over seven years of work experience in the tourism sector, where I specialized in Groups and Incentives, I developed a strong interest in career counseling and development. My goal has always been to assist young individuals in finding their dream jobs.
Now, I am excited to embark on the next chapter of my career as a Program Operations and Internships Manager with the College of Global Studies at Arcadia University.
