You’ll take a full credit load of 16 US credits (40 units). 10 Australian university credit point units = 4 U.S. university semester hours of credit.
- Please review your courses with your academic or study abroad advisor to ensure they will transfer back to your home school and that you are following your home school’s policies.
- Please be flexible – we can’t guarantee specific courses. If your participation in the program depends on a particular course, be sure to make a note on your online course form.
Special Considerations
Bond may request that you submit syllabi or an updated official transcript.
Choosing Your Courses
Include at least 8-10 courses on your academic preferences form. When selecting your courses:
- Select the Undergraduate Study Option, and set the additional criteria according to your interests and requirements.
- Be sure to check the box for study abroad students, and then click on the Search button. A list of subjects will appear.
- By clicking on the title of each course, you will be able to view the course description and subject outline.
- Remember to make sure the appropriate semester of study is selected (September for fall semester, January for spring semester).
Course Approval
Bond University will review your academic preferences form for approval and your Program Manager will inform you.

Enrollment Process
Online enrollment process opens approximately 4-6 weeks prior to departure. Through Bond's online enrollment portal, you will be able to formally register for your courses (from the list of approved courses by Bond) and create your timetable. Instructions will be emailed when it’s time to register.
Bring an updated copy of your official transcript, your passport and COE with you to final registration orientation.
There is a drop/add period at the beginning of each semester that allows students to make changes to course enrollments. If you make any changes it is your responsibility to inform your home institution.
Miscellaneous/Fees
Possible additional fees for courses that include laboratory work, field excursions or theater trips. Many fine art or production courses will include a supplemental fee.
