If you are a student who has been offered admission to a college or university but are looking to start in a later semester, Arcadia has an interim credit-bearing option that may be an excellent fit. Why not enroll for a semester of college-level study with us in London, where you’ll explore the culture and excitement of a major global city whose history spans two millennia?

Arcadia University has been sending students on study abroad programs since 1948, and is committed to helping all students achieve a global, integrative, and personal learning experience. With our main campus located just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, our programs around the world are managed by The College of Global Studies, one of the university's three Colleges.

With nearly two decades of experience in first-year programming, our students benefit from the robust academics, support services, and co-curricular learning opportunities in our London Center. Our faculty are published and active in their fields of research, offering thought-provoking lectures, engaging field study, and inspiring excursions and cross-cultural activities for our students. Our staff offers comprehensive student support in both the U.S. and in London, with a dedicated team to student health, safety, and security.

This program is a good fit for students who want to earn academic credit and study abroad in a large, culturally diverse urban environment. While you'll have to show independence in commuting to class on public transit, managing your own budget, and even cooking for yourself, Arcadia will be there to help you learn everywhere.

  • You will study alongside other students from colleges and universities all over the U.S.

  • You will enroll in four courses for a total of 16 credits, inclusive of a required first-year student Cornerstone Course that will contextualize your time in London and prepare you for college-level writing and critical thinking.
  • All students will be in housing provided by Arcadia University.
  • Students will receive an Arcadia University transcript upon successful completion of the program.
