A coastal town in southwestern Italy, Sorrento overlooks the Bay of Naples on the Sorrentine Peninsula. Perched upon cliffs above the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento is known for breathtaking water views and Piazza Tasso, the main square of the city lined with cafes, restaurants, and beautiful historic buildings.
Sant’Anna occupies a stately building that houses a residence hall, studio space, kitchen, student lounge, gym, and library equipped with a printer.
It is surrounded by a garden with lemon, orange, and kiwi trees as well as basketball courts.
Sant’Anna Institute is home to students coming from various countries, but all courses are taught in English. Sorrento is our classroom. It is a global campus in which faculty respect and draw from different points of view while providing rich field trip experiences and on-site visits to locations that enrich the global context of each course.
