Excursions & Activities

We like to get you out of the classroom and into the community! Classes include guest speakers, trips to visit local groups, museums, businesses, and more. We also include fun excursions in the area to help you learn even more about the history, culture, and region!

All of our excursions are included in program fee, so you will always have amazing activities to join, at no additional cost. While the majority of the program take places in Fredrikstad, the program will also take students to a variety of excellent areas such as:

IN NORWAY

• Oslo - only a short train-ride away, many of our courses will include visits to various museums and sites of importance in Oslo throughout the semester. 
• Travel to the world-renowned West Norwegian Fjords – Geirangerfjord and Nærøyfjord - some of the most beautiful scenic sites in Norway!

IN SCANDINAVIA

• A multi-day excursion to neighboring Scandinavian countries Sweden and Denmark
