Carlaw Park Student Village, Arcadia’s number one housing choice for our Auckland students, provides apartment-style living in one of Auckland University’s newest housing options.

Carlaw is located next to The Domain, a beautiful large park that is home to the Auckland Museum and many festivals during the year. It is only a 5-minute walk from Carlaw to the main campus, a short walk to downtown Auckland. It is also close to grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, and shops.

Most apartments at Carlaw are three or four bedrooms, and you will occupy a single bedroom with access to a shared kitchen, bathroom, and living area. You will reside with other international and study abroad students, though we try to have students placed with a Kiwi (local student) host where possible. Each apartment is fully furnished, and includes a fully equipped kitchen. You are responsible for sourcing your own meals. Broadband internet access is available in the rooms, and is included in the housing cost. Arcadia arranges for a linen pack to be provided on arrival.

Should availability at Carlaw be limited, we will aim to provide similar apartment-style housing at a location that is equally convenient. If additional housing is necessary, we will contact you directly to explain these changes. 

We are not able to accommodate any roommate requests in New Zealand, except in very rare circumstances.

While we ensure all housing satisfies Arcadia standards, there is no way to guarantee uniformity of apartment and room sizes, distance from Auckland University, or the furnishings or facilities included.
